Irish Day Farm (IDF) is a hunter/jumper/dressage show barn for riders of all ages and abilities. Located in Houston, TX, IDF is convenient to neighborhoods inside and outside the Sam Houston Tollway.
The philosophy at IDF is to start with the basics and develop a system of communication, building on an empathetic relationship between horse and rider, as well as the physical skills needed to perform at a technical level that is both challenging and rewarding. IDF feels passionate that riders strive for excellence in horsemanship and are more than just riders--they become a team with their horses that effectively work together.
The training program is further enhanced by the ultimate test--showing! IDF participates in USEF/USHJA/THJA/USDF "A" and "AA" shows both locally, around the state, and around the nation.
